Have you experienced a moment where you know you need to do something and you have tons of idea but you dont have enough time to realize it. I think that frequently happen almost all the times for my case.
Just recently, one of my friend leaving KL to start new journey at Singapore. I returned for Christmas + New Year's holiday and ended up not able to prepare fancy gift. I thought to buy her something as a keepsake-but totally out of time. I have a lot of unused boxes at home-those gift pack or product packaging which initially I thought such a waste to throw it away because it's just too nice.
Glanced through-I have one brownish paper box for Christmas edition from one of my favorite skin care shop. I opened up all my craft material and tools-sorting out what I can use to decorate the plain box. Instead putting fancy gift inside the box-I went for a very traditional gift. A letter. Not an usual letter, but timely letter. I wrote about 10+ letter, wrapped it nicely inside vintage envelope.
This is how's it looks like before and after some touch up here and there. These are the list of material I used to prepare the letter box :
1. Washi tape (fabric/non-fabric type)
2. Ribbon
p.s The Ribbon I used here was a hairband gifted to me before, the band wored out and I pluck out the ribbon for craft purpose instead.
3. Stamp & Button Sticker
4. Vintage envelope
5. Liquid glue / Double tape

If you have any unused box-do not throw it away. Trust me, you can be creative and remodeled the box into something new and fancy gift that you cant buy anywhere in the world. It'll be the best gift idea ever for your beloved one.
Happy Recycle Guys !
Cheers
